Closing Checklist
The last coach of the day is responsible for completing this checklist before leaving.

Spray the mats with cleaning solution — the sprayer with the orange handle is in the equipment closet

Mop with the wet mop (right side of equipment closet)

Wet mop pads are on the top shelf near the middle of the equipment closet

When done, put the used mop pad in the dirty laundry basket

If the sprayer is low or empty, refill it before you leave so it’s ready for the next coach

How to refill the mat spray
[VIDEO NEEDED: Dedicated walkthrough of mixing and refilling the mat spray solution]- The concentrate is in the equipment closet
- Mix 2 oz of concentrate per gallon of water
- Fill the sprayer with water first, then add the concentrate
- A measuring cup should be near the concentrate (if it’s missing, let a head coach know)
- Close the sprayer and shake gently to mix
Foot Cleaning Station
Section titled “Foot Cleaning Station”- Put the cover back on — it slides behind the water bottle & flip flop shelving unit
Lights & Electronics
Section titled “Lights & Electronics”- Turn off the music on the Spotify tablet
- Turn off both speakers (power button)
- Turn off mat lights
- Turn off lounge room light
- Turn off lounge room lamp (floor switch)
- Turn off bathroom light
- Turn off office light
- Turn off main entrance lights
Tidying
Section titled “Tidying”- Do a quick lap — throw away any paper cups or trash people left around the lounge and mat area
- If anything looks obviously out of place, take a minute to straighten it up
Lockup
Section titled “Lockup”- Make sure the front door (the one that opens onto the mats) is locked — people sometimes open it during class for various reasons, so double check it
- Lock the main door by pressing the bottom button on the keypad
- Important: Push on the door while locking it. The door doesn’t sit perfectly in the frame and the lock won’t always catch if you don’t
